Dominique Manu is responsible for marketing related topics and sales strategies.
Dominique has 10 years of management experience across a number of functions in large multinationals as well as in the German Mittelstand. His current role is Vice President Operations at Schlemmer Group, a mid-market company in the field of automotive. Previously, as Head of International Business Development & Global Sales Operations at Berner Group, he was responsible for developing and implementing global sales strategies in emerging growth markets in Asia/ Pacific, the Americas, the Middle East and Africa, as well as Eastern Europe, for the automotive and construction division.
As a manager in corporate strategy/ M&A, he was responsible for the strategy process of the group’s chemical division, helping in the alignment to become one of the leading system suppliers in industrial maintenance/MRO and automotive. Throughout this time, he acquired a broad range of family-owned companies. During his initial years, he assisted the management board to conduct a group wide strategy development process to reach the one billion euro mark. Prior to this engagement, he gained first valuable experience working for IBM and as a consultant with IBM Business Consulting Services. Dominique holds a Diplom-Kaufmann from the University of Hamburg, a Ph.D. in management from the University of Teesside (UK) and attended executive education programs at the University of Pennsylvania Wharton Business School, University of Chicago Booth Business School and Ashridge Business School.
