Werner Pintgen is responsible for research and data/information gathering, sharing more than 25 years of relevant management, research and industry experience with large conglomerates and the German Mittelstand.
As Managing Director of i-conomic, he conducts research for many Mittelstand clients in various industries. During his time as head of research at Deutsche Post World Net Inhouse Consulting, he focused on logistics and many other client sectors such as automotive, consumer, chemicals and industrials. Werner also spent significant time in strategy consulting.
He built up and led the research function at Boston Consulting Group in Düsseldorf and Frankfurt. Afterwards he led the research team/ activities at the McKinsey spin-off, the Mitchell Madison Group. Werner started his career in the textile industry at Kurt Salmon Associates and Woolmark. He holds a Masters in Information Science from the Heinrich-Heine University in Düsseldorf and is a lecturer at the University Rhein-Waal.
